Request deletion

You may request deletion of your Community Calendar account and associated private account information at any time.

Use this protected contact address: Show email address . The complete address is revealed only after activation to reduce passive address harvesting. Use the subject Community Calendar Data Deletion Request.

Send the request from the email address associated with your Community Calendar account when possible. If you signed in only through Google, Microsoft, or Facebook and the provider did not supply an email address, include the display name used on Community Calendar and the login provider you used. We may ask for additional information reasonably necessary to verify that you control the account before deleting it.

What account deletion removes

After a verified account-deletion request is approved, Community Calendar's deletion process is designed to:

• disable the account from further authentication;
• remove linked Google, Microsoft, and Facebook identity records associated with the account;
• remove local password authentication material;
• remove local two-factor-authentication credentials;
• invalidate active Community Calendar login sessions;
• remove private saved-event relationships;
• remove or revoke account-owned API authentication material where applicable; and
• anonymize the retained account record by removing the former display name and email address where practical.

What may be retained

Deleting an account does not necessarily erase every record that has ever been associated with the account. Community Calendar may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes such as public event history, moderation integrity, security, fraud and abuse prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, backup integrity, and the exercise or defense of legal claims.

In particular, events you submitted, recurring-event series, moderation actions, and audit records may remain after account deletion. The retained account reference is anonymized where practical so it no longer contains the deleted account's display name, email address, password, MFA secret, or linked-provider identity.

If a published event itself contains your personal information in its description, artwork, location, or public contact fields, identify that event in your deletion request. We will review whether that public information can also be removed or corrected, subject to legal, moderation, archival, and record-integrity needs.

Facebook data deletion

If you used Facebook Login, the deletion process removes the Facebook identity record stored by Community Calendar, including the stored Facebook provider account identifier and provider email associated with that login. Community Calendar does not control data retained independently by Meta/Facebook. To manage information held by Facebook itself, use Facebook's own account and privacy controls.

Google and Microsoft data deletion

If you used Google or Microsoft Login, the corresponding linked identity record stored by Community Calendar is removed as part of account deletion. One-time Google Calendar or Outlook imports create local event drafts; deleting a Community Calendar account does not delete an event from your external Google or Microsoft calendar.

Timing

We will review verified deletion requests without unreasonable delay and complete them within the time required by applicable law. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or security records until those records are rotated, overwritten, or no longer reasonably necessary.

Other privacy requests
